ABOUT ABOUT

Come join us for an amazing movie diving deep into the roots of Rock 'N Roll and the unsung Native musicians that built the entertainment genre we know and love.  November is #NativeHeritageMonth. Celebrate with us all that Indigenous communities contribute to the world in the way of art, culture, tradition, business, law and more.

Tonight, we focus on how Native artists invented, influenced, changed rock music - where it started, and where it's going.

When: November 12, Saturday
Doors open at 6 PM
Movie starts at 6:30 PM
Conversation to follow

Where: Barnstormers Theatre
112 NE Evelyn Ave

The movie does not have a parental rating, though we would give it PG-13. Overall it is an upbeat movie inspiring to individuals of a variety of ages, however it does contain some strong language.

Tonight's movie night is brought to you by @The Equity Project of Josephine County, @Nativewomanshare and @Barnstormers Community Theatre. Together, our three organizations are dedicated to the celebration and inclusion of diversity in Josephine County.
